I've had the car for over 10 years, it was my dream to build a LSX RX7, Ive spent over 50k in the car, always working trying to make it better, the car was built by PEZ, he was known in the rx7 community because of the quality of work and to performed over 25 swaps in rx7's. The car was meant to go to the track but so far I have not been able to take it. The car sits in the garage most of the time and after two kids and a future move I have decided it is time to let someone else enjoy this vehicle. When I first purchased the car it still had the rotary engine. The car was parked in my business parking lot and one of my customers backed into the right corner front. It was reported to our insurance carrier and car was taken to body shop to see if front end had been compromised. Everything came out squared. No suspension pick up points were damaged, and no damage to suspension. Damage was only cosmetic. At this point is when I started the project. I purchased the 99 front end, and started ordering all the swap parts including the engine. The car drives great, no overheating issues, no grinds in the transmission, and car starts up every time. Smog was just done in April of 2019. Clean title. Below is a list of parts that I can recall over the timeline of the project. This is the famous Mazda RX-7 Convertible. It is a 1.3L 1038CC R2. Runs great and includes repair, upgrade, and maintenance paperwork since 1998! Recent repairs include: -New Engine/Engine Assembly (April 2008) -Brand new Body Control Module (Jan 2011) -Replaced Radiator (April 2014) -New A/C Compressor and A/C Upgrades (June 2016) -Replaced Power Steering Belt (July 2016) -New Antenna (August 2017) These are just some of the major repairs, but car has been cared for and maintained well since its creation. Some larger scratches near RX-7 logo on back. Overall very good condition - see photos. No major accidents. Has ORIGINAL RX-7 Floormats, full tool kit, removable car phone antenna, hubcap tool. Includes odometer (trip mileage). Recent issues have all been repaired and documented. Has original sound system, cassette player, CD player, radio. Radio works - but for some reason it says TAPE while the radio is playing; you can press TAPE to see what station to you are on and change station fine. Tape and CD player were having issues last time I tried it. I can test it again if this is an important feature; I am just worried about getting a tape or CD stuck in there. Let me know if you want me to test it and I will. Fuel was flooding engine, but problem was repaired and with proper shutdown with each use, this is no longer a problem. Posting my 93' FD Rx7Touring model. 5 speed manual. Has 183k miles on body. Motor has just been completely rebuilt by Rotorsports racing. Motor comes with one year warranty. Runs and drives great. Had the car inspected on rebuild as well. Turbos excellent shape. Clutch is like new as well. Pretty much all stock. Only mods is down-pipe, cat-back exhaust, lightweight flywheel, and lowered suspension. 18' new rims with new tires all around. The entire car has been repainted and is very glossy red. interior is also good shape.
